MUSIC
A timeline of my musical growth over the years.
“Flying in the Wind”
I started piano lessons at a young age and quickly began experimenting. At 8 years old, I finished my first piano composition and performed it at a recital, marking the beginning of my creative music journey.
“Countless Hours”
At the age of 13, I wanted to express what I witnessed during COVID-19 in a different musical form. This pushed me to write a song with lyrics, then record myself singing, produce in Logic Pro X, score a lead sheet in Sibelius, and make a music video.
“Black Friday”
I self-recorded, played, sang, and mixed a cover of “Black Friday” by Tom Odell, rearranging the song and stripping it down to make it more intimate. Press play below to listen, or hear it on any streaming service!

“Say Hey to the Quarrymen!”
For an AP English project, I conducted 60+ pages of research on the Beatles, then condensed their story into a video essay script and a song inspired by their style. I took the project to Berklee this summer, where I arranged the song with a band and performed it.
“Shotgun Seat”
When my senior friends graduated last year, I wanted to express how important they were to me. So, I wrote this song about the times we hung out and the feeling of a fleeting summer, then recorded and edited the following video.
“Charcoal Nights”
A time of confusing emotions led me to write “Charcoal Nights,” which I believe is one of my most vulnerable pieces. I deeply connect with this song, as writing it allowed me to reflect on how I felt and explain my feelings to the one I wrote it about.
